Building Computers

I built my first computer when I was 14 and still use it as my main PC today. After building my first computer, my friends wanted me to build them computers too. Soon after, I was the "computer guy," helping troubleshoot and fix family and friends' computers. I have built over ten and troubleshot more than I'd like to admit.

Raspberry Pi

I got my first Raspberry Pi when I was 13 and spent many hours tinkering with it. I enjoyed the Pi 3 so much that I got the updated version, the Pi 4, years later for my 19th birthday. The new Pi 4 had a better processor and 8GB of ram; this opened the door to many more projects, these include:

  • Video game emulation

  • Installing different versions of Linux

  • Hosting a local server

Repairing Phones

The first phone I repaired was my iPhone 5c I received for my 10th birthday. While it was a simple screen replacement, I liked the process so much that I began fixing my parents' phones, my brothers, my friends, and even my friends' parents. I gained experience this way and got to work on many different types of phones. This is what kickstarted my passion for computer repair.
